Damon Belk, 29, of Hemphill passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 in Lufkin, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosevine Pentecostal Church in Bronson, Texas.
Damon was born on May 6, 1995 in Grand Prairie, Texas to James Belk and Keri Fowler. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and he then worked for the Local Union 798. He enjoyed traveling and seeing new places, hanging out with his friends, and he enjoyed welding. His greatest and proudest achievement were his family. He married his wife Hannah on March 6, 2021 and they added to their family, who was a daddy’s little girl.
He is survived by his wife Hannah Belk of Hemphill, Tx; daughter Ivy Belk of Hemphill; father James Belk & wife Brandy of Linden; mother Keri Fowler Belk of Rosevine, Tx; brother Mason Belk of Rosevine, Tx; grandparents Patti & Rick Rocha of Hideaway, Tx and Terri Sturdevant of Rosevine, Tx; in-laws Amanda & Jerry “Cookie” Crustner of Pineland, Tx; aunt Lindsay Smith; uncle Nik Koumoundouros of Dallas, Tx; great aunt & uncle Tami & Walter White of Dangerfield of Dangerfield, Tx; cousins Boston & Britian; as well as numerous cousins and beloved friends spread across the world. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers James Perry and Damon Belk; great grandparents Jim & Peggy Maxey; and uncle Brad Fowler.
