Dorothy Sue Williams, 84, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Jasper, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper. The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 Dorothy Sue was born on June 16, 1940 in Hemphill, Texas to Kermit Easley & Verneeda Sue Erzen. A resident of Pineland, she moved to Jasper in 1954. Dorothy loved baking and flowers. She was a very generous woman, who helped anyone who needed help. A devout Christian woman, she was a one-of-a-kind diamond in the rough. Her greatest accomplishment and her pride and joy is her family. She loved her family dearly and was very proud of them. She is survived by her son Daron Williams of Jasper; daughters Shelly Vannoy of Jasper, Lisa Haughton of Jasper, Kristi Holmes & husband Blake of New Albany, Indiana, and Karla Harris & husband John; grandchildren Angelia, Jennifer, Jeremy, Rachel, Joel David, Victor, Christian, Nicholas, and Lucas; great grandchildren Holden, Hannah, and Cayden; and son-in-law Patrick McPhillips. She is preceded in death by her Mom Verneeda Sue Zager, her dad Kermit Easley, and daughter Deborah McPhillips.
