Felix C. Bunch

Felix Bunch, 83, of Jasper passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Jasper. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Nedville Missionary Baptist Church in Jasper. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the church.

Felix was born on January 24, 1942 in Woodville, Mississippi to Joe & Mary Bunch. On December 22, 1998, he married his wife Vicki Bunch and moved to Jasper. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. serving in the Vietnam War from 1963-1968. He worked from 1970-1987 as a Machinist for FINA, from 1987-1991 he worked on Lake Mary Plantation in Mississippi, from 1992-1999 he drove a truck for various companies, from 2000-2005 he worked as a Deputy for the Jasper County Sherrif’s Department, from 2005-2009 he was stationed in Dubia in fleet maintenance for Operation Iraqi Freedom, and lastly from 2009-2024 he worked as a truck driver. Survivors include his wife of 26 years Vicki Bunch of Jasper; son Shane Scroggins & wife Alisa of Garrison; daughter Carlene Ann Wheat & husband Richard of Bridge City; sisters Lynn Herman of Austin, Sue Bunch of San Antonio, and Anne Murphy of North Carolina; grandchildren Blake & wife Kerstin, Hope & husband Trevor, Jackson & wife Talia, and Alexa & husband Darren; great grandchildren Jameson and Jaxon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by brothers Mack Bunch, George Bunch, Joe Bunch, and Claude Bunch, as well as sisters Carolyn Estelle Bunch and June Bunch. There will be a Celebration of Life graveside service at the family cemetery at Woodville, Mississippi at a later date.
