Leslie Robert Crenshaw

Leslie Robert Crenshaw of Jasper, Texas passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the age of 65, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on September 26, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas, Leslie was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas with a private interment at Sycamore Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norma and Thomas Crenshaw. He is survived by his daughter Lynda Taylor & husband John; son John Crenshaw & wife Lauren; sister Kathy Crenshaw; and his beloved grandchildren who brought him endless joy, Lynley Crenshaw, Caden Crenshaw, Walker Crenshaw, Bennett Taylor, and Reese Taylor.

Leslie began his early career working on oil rigs, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for hard work. He later took his expertise overseas to Iraq, where he served as a project manager in construction, contributing to rebuilding efforts. Upon returning to the U.S., he continued his career as a project manager, demonstrating his leadership and dedication to work.

Above all, Leslie was a generous and loving man. He had a passion for riding motorcycles, finding freedom on the open road. He cherished every moment spent watching his grandchildren's sports games and dance performances. He was always their biggest supporter. He also loved going to the movies with them, sharing in their laughter and excitement. His presence was a steady and loving force in the lives of those he cared about.
