Winton Malachi "Mal "Morgan

Winton Malachi “Mal” Morgan Jr., 77, of Jasper passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Beulah Springs Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Erin Cemetery. The family will greet friends Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

A native and life-long resident of Jasper, he was born on August 17, 1944 to Winton Malachi &Daisy Morgan Sr. A 1962 graduate of Jasper High School, he retired from Mead-Wesvaco in Evadale. He was a hardworking husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking and taking care of his animals. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Betty Morgan of Jasper; sons Greg Morgan &wife Marie of Jasper and Cal Morgan &Jill Morgan of Jasper; brother John Lindy Morgan of Jasper; grandchildren Hannah, Cody, Nocona, Garrett, Chloe &Callie; as well as great grandchildren Brate, Jensen &Thomas.
